Sophia Araka is a licensed psychologist, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (BSc) from the University of Central Lancashire and a Master’s degree (MSc) in Applied Clinical Psychology from the University of Bath, United Kingdom. Additionally, she has completed a four-year postgraduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at Wessex Counselling & Psychotherapy in the UK.

Her professional experience in the UK includes working in primary schools, providing support to children with special learning difficulties. Furthermore, she has offered her services to the charity Somerset & Avon Rape & Sexual Abuse Support (SARSAS), providing psychological support and counseling to adults and teenagers who have experienced sexual abuse. For the past four years, she has been collaborating with the Tech Talent School for Educators, presenting seminars on how educators can enhance their mental resilience. She provides remote psychotherapy and counseling services to adults privately as a psychologist.
